Community Resource Day 2019
Our 13th Community Resource Day was a massive success. On October 2, we were able to serve 682 people, a 37% increase over last year. In addition to bags of shelf-stable food and fresh fruits and vegetables, we were also able to provide professional clothing, haircuts, enrollment in Safe Nights, a hot lunch, 86 flu shots, 60 birth certificate reprints, 36 HIV tests, 22 dental screenings and over 40 other services from our community partners and Partner Agencies.
We are so grateful for the organizations that partnered with us to make this wonderful event possible! Special thanks goes to: LifeStyles of Maryland, Inc., Charles County Department of Health, and Charles County Department of Social Services.
